Multiple Affected as Rough Air Strikes A Delta Airlines Flight Landing at Sydney
Several people sustained injuries following a Delta aircraft originating in Los Angeles to Sydney, Australia was hit by rough air Friday morning.
Delta Flight 41 "went through a short bout of rough air" as it touched down at the Sydney airport, an airline spokesperson informed. A number of the onboard staff required medical attention.
Emergency medical services reported they assessed five patients, and transported three of them to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries that such as spinal discomfort and migraines. Those affected ranged from their thirties and seventies.
